Race Forward is a go-to hub for racial justice work, offering research, media, and practice to 'catalyze movement building for racial justice.' Their free tools and frameworks are especially useful for organizations looking to embed equity into their policies and culture
BoardSource is the go-to resource for nonprofit governance. They have a mix of paid and free content available on topics such as recruitment, composition, roles, and general best practices.
Racial Equity Tools is an incredible free library of 5,000+ resources to help everyone working toward racial justice — from individuals to organizations to whole systems. Vu Le (“voo lay”) writes a no-BS blog series about the the nonprofit sector. He blogs about crappy fundraising practices, inequitable Boards, cultural competency, power, and so much more. His blog series both highlights the inequities inherent in the sector AND provides concrete ideas on how to build a more socially just and conscious sector.
